Esekiel 25,9

7 derfor, se, jeg vil strekke ut min hånd mot dere og gi dere som bytte til folkene. Jeg vil utrydde dere fra folkene og eliminere dere fra landene. Jeg vil ødelegge dere, og dere skal kjenne at jeg er Herren.’”

derfor, se, jeg vil avdekke Moabs flanke, begynne med grensebyene—Bet Jesjimot, Ba’al Meon og Kirjatajim—landets herlighet.

10 Jeg vil overgi Moab sammen med ammonittene til Østens folk som en eiendom, slik at ammonittene blir glemt blant nasjonene;
