Åpenbaringen 11,1

Jeg ble gitt en målestav som en stav og ble instruert: “Reis deg og mål Guds tempel og alteret, og de som tilber der.

2 Men utelat den ytre gårdsplassen; mål den ikke, for den er blitt overgitt til nasjonene. De skal tråkke ned den hellige byen i førtito måneder.

3 Og jeg vil gi myndighet til mine to vitner, og de skal profetere i 1 260 dager, kledd i sekkestrie.”
