5. Mosebok 28,8

6 Du vil motta velsignelser i dine innganger og utganger.

7 Herren vil få dine fiender som reiser seg mot deg til å bli beseiret foran deg. De vil komme mot deg fra én retning, men flykte fra deg i syv.

Herren vil befale en velsignelse over dine lader og over alt du legger din hånd på, og Han vil velsigne deg i landet som Han gir deg.

9 Herren vil etablere deg som Hans hellige folk, slik Han sverget til deg, hvis du holder Herrens din Guds bud og vandrer på Hans veier.

10 Da vil alle jordens folk se at du er kalt ved Herrens navn, og de vil frykte deg.
