PharaohEgypt

1 Elsk Herren din Gud, og hold alltid Hans krav, Hans lover, Hans forskrifter og Hans bud.

2 Vit i dag at det ikke er med deres barn jeg taler, de som ikke har kjent og ikke har sett Herrens, deres Guds tukt—Hans storhet, Hans mektige hånd og Hans utstrakte arm,

og tegnene Han gjorde og gjerningene Han utførte midt i Egypt for farao, kongen av Egypt, og for hele hans land;

4 og hva Han gjorde med den egyptiske hæren, med dens hester og vogner, da Han lot vannet i Rødehavet oversvømme dem mens de forfulgte dere, og Herren brakte varig ødeleggelse over dem;

5 og hva Han gjorde for dere i ørkenen inntil dere kom til dette stedet;
