Moses sa til høvdingene for Israels stammer: “Dette er hva Herren har befalt:

2 Når en mann gir et løfte til Herren eller sverger en ed for å binde seg med et løfte, skal han ikke bryte sitt ord. Han må gjøre alt han har sagt.

3 Hvis en ung kvinne, som fortsatt bor i sin fars hus, gir et løfte til Herren eller binder seg med et løfte,
