4 Moses gjorde som Herren hadde befalt ham, og menigheten samlet seg ved inngangen til telthelligdommen.

5 Moses talte til menigheten og sa: "Dette er Herrens befaling som skal oppfylles."

Moses førte så fram Aron og hans sønner og renset dem med vann.

7 Han kledde Aron med kjortelen, bandt beltet rundt ham, kledde ham i kappen og satte efoden på ham. Han festet også efoden med et dekorativt belte, og sikret det rundt ham.

8 Han satte bryststykket på ham og la Urim og Tummim i bryststykket.
