Israel

8 "Si til dem: 'Enhver israelitt eller fremmed som bor blant dem som bringer et brennoffer eller et offer

9 og ikke bringer det til inngangen til møteteltet for å ofre det til Herren, må utestenges fra sitt folk.

Jeg vil vende mitt ansikt mot enhver israelitt eller fremmed som bor blant dem som konsumerer noe blod, og jeg vil utestenge dem fra sitt folk.

11 For livet til et vesen er i blodet, og jeg har gitt det til dere for å gjøre soning for deres sjeler på alteret; det er blodet som gjør soning for ens liv.

12 Derfor sier jeg til israelittene: "Ingen av dere må konsumere blod, og ingen fremmed som bor blant dere må konsumere blod."
