25 Men Sippora tok en flintkniv, skar av sin sønns forhud, og berørte Moses’ føtter med den, og sa: «Du er en blodbrudgom for meg.»

26 Så lot Herren ham være. På den tiden sa hun «blodbrudgom,» med henvisning til omskjærelsen.

Herren instruerte Aron: «Gå ut i ørkenen for å møte Moses.» Så han dro og møtte ham ved Guds fjell og hilste ham varmt.

28 Moses fortalte Aron alle Herrens ord som Han hadde sendt ham med, og alle tegnene Han hadde befalt ham å utføre.

29 Moses og Aron samlet så alle Israels eldste,
