SolomonJerusalem

12 visdom og kunnskap er gitt deg.
Jeg vil også gi deg rikdom, velstand og ære,
slik som ingen av kongene før deg har hatt,
og heller ikke de som kommer etter deg vil ha.”

13 Salomo dro fra offerhaugen i Gibeon,
fra møteteltet, og dro til Jerusalem,
hvor han regjerte over Israel.

Salomo samlet vogner og ryttere.
Han hadde 1 400 vogner og 12 000 ryttere,
og han plasserte dem i vognbyene og hos kongen i Jerusalem.

15 Kongen gjorde sølv og gull like vanlig i Jerusalem som steiner,
og han gjorde sedertrær like tallrike som morbærtrærne i lavlandet.

16 Salomos hester ble importert fra Egypt og fra Kue;
kongens kjøpmenn kjøpte dem fra Kue for en pris.
