16 Joasj hvilte med sine forfedre og ble begravet i Samaria med Israels konger, og hans sønn Jeroboam etterfulgte ham som konge.

17 Amasja, sønn av Joasj, konge av Juda, levde i femten år etter Joasjs død, sønn av Joahaz, konge av Israel.
