På den tiden dro Juda bort fra sine brødre og gikk til en Adullamitt ved navn Hira.

2 Der så Juda datteren til en kanaaneisk mann ved navn Sjua; han tok henne til kone og hadde samkvem med henne.

3 Hun ble gravid med ham og fødte en sønn, som han kalte Er.
