1. Krønikebok 23,32

Aaron

30 De skal stå hver morgen for å gi takk og for å prise Herren,
og likeså om kvelden,

31 og for å frembære alle brennoffer til Herren,
på sabbatene, nymånene og de fastsatte høytidene,
i det antall som er spesifisert ved forskriften om dem,
kontinuerlig for Herrens åsyn.

Så de skal utføre pliktene ved møteteltet,
pliktene ved det hellige stedet,
og pliktene til Arons sønner, deres slektninger,
for tjenesten i Herrens hus.
