12 Sønnene til Kehat var:
Amram, Jishar, Hebron og Ussiel—fire.

13 Sønnene til Amram var:
Aron og Moses.
Og Aron ble satt til side for å hellige ham som den mest hellige,
han og hans sønner for alltid,
for å ofre ofre for Herren,
for å tjene Ham og for å velsigne i Hans navn for alltid.

Når det gjelder Moses, Guds mann, ble hans sønner anerkjent blant Levi stamme.

15 Etterkommerne av Moses var:
Gersjom og Elieser.

16 Gersjoms sønn var Sjebuel, som tjente som overhode.
