Solomon

1 I det fire hundre og åttiende året etter at Israels barn dro ut av landet Egypt, i det fjerde året av Salomos regjeringstid over Israel, i måneden Ziv (som er den andre måneden), begynte han byggingen av Herrens hus.

Huset som kong Salomo bygde for Herren var seksti alen langt, tjue alen bredt, og tretti alen høyt.

3 Forhallen foran skipet i huset var tjue alen lang, i tråd med husets bredde, og ti alen dyp foran huset.

4 Og han laget vinduer for huset med kunstneriske rammer.
