JeroboamNebat

50 Josjafat ble lagt til hvile med sine forfedre og ble begravet med dem i sin far Davids by. Og hans sønn Joram etterfulgte ham som konge.

51 Akasja, sønn av Akab, begynte å regjere over Israel i Samaria i det syttende året av Josjafat, kongen av Juda, og han regjerte over Israel i to år.

Han gjorde det som var ondt i Herrens øyne og vandret i sin fars og mors veier og i Jeroboams vei, sønn av Nebat, som fikk Israel til å synde.

53 Han tjente og tilba Baal og vakte Herrens, Israels Guds, vrede, akkurat som hans far hadde gjort.
