6 For Du gjør ham overmåte velsignet for alltid;
Du fyller ham med glede i Din nærhet.

7 For kongen har tro på Herren,
Og gjennom Den Høyestes trofasthet skal han forbli urokkelig.

Din hånd skal nå alle dine fiender;
Din høyre hånd skal gripe dem som bærer hat mot deg.

9 Du skal gjøre dem som en brennende ovn i din vredes tid;
Herren skal fortære dem i Sin vrede,
Og ild skal sluke dem.

10 Du skal fjerne deres etterkommere fra jorden,
Og deres avkom fra menneskenes barn.
