Guds trofasthetPakt og løfterLydighet

10 Men de som hater Ham, vil Han gjengjelde ansikt til ansikt ved ødeleggelse; Han vil ikke nøle med å gjengjelde ansikt til ansikt dem som hater Ham.

11 Så vær nøye med å følge de bud, forskrifter og lover jeg gir deg i dag.

Hvis du legger merke til disse lovene og er nøye med å følge dem, vil Herren din Gud opprettholde sin pakt av kjærlighet med deg, slik Han sverget til dine forfedre.

13 Han vil elske deg, velsigne deg og øke ditt antall. Han vil velsigne frukten av ditt morsliv, avlingen på ditt land—ditt korn, din nye vin og din olivenolje—kalvene av dine flokker og lammene av dine hjorder i landet Han sverget til dine forfedre å gi deg.

14 Du vil bli velsignet over alle folk; ingen av dine menn eller kvinner vil være barnløse, og heller ikke noen av ditt husdyr vil være uten avkom.
