³ Så skal du gå videre derfra og komme til Tabors eik. Der vil tre menn som går opp til Gud i Betel, møte deg, en bærende tre unge geiter, en annen bærende tre brød, og en annen bærende en skinnsekk med vin.

⁴ De vil hilse på deg og gi deg to brød, som du skal ta imot fra deres hånd.

Deretter skal du komme til Gibeat-Elohim, hvor filisternes garnison er. Når du nærmer deg byen, vil du møte en flokk profeter som kommer ned fra offerhaugen med harpe, tamburin, fløyte og lyre foran seg, og de vil profetere.

⁶ Da skal Herrens Ånd komme mektig over deg, og du skal profetere sammen med dem og bli forvandlet til et annet menneske.

⁷ Og når disse tegnene kommer til deg, gjør det din hånd finner å gjøre, for Gud er med deg.
