Betel

9 For jeg ble instruert ved Herrens ord og sa, ‘Du skal ikke spise brød, heller ikke drikke vann, eller vende tilbake den veien du kom.’”

10 Så tok han en annen vei og vendte ikke tilbake den veien han hadde kommet til Betel.

Nå bodde det en gammel profet i Betel, og hans sønner kom og fortalte ham om alle de gjerninger som Guds mann hadde gjort den dagen i Betel; de fortalte også faren deres de ordene han hadde talt til kongen.

12 Og deres far sa til dem, “Hvilken vei gikk han?” Nå hadde sønnene hans sett hvilken vei Guds mann gikk, som hadde kommet fra Juda.

13 Da sa han til sønnene sine, “Sal eslet for meg.” Så salte de eslet for ham, og han satte seg på det.
