13 Dette vitnesbyrdet er sant. Derfor, irettesett dem skarpt, så de kan være sunne i troen

14 og ikke gi akt på jødiske myter eller bud fra mennesker som vender seg bort fra sannheten.

For de rene er alle ting rene, men for de urene og vantro er ingenting rent. Ja, både deres sinn og samvittighet er urene.

16 De bekjenner at de kjenner Gud, men med sine gjerninger fornekter de ham. De er avskyelige, ulydige og udugelige til enhver god gjerning.
