12 De ugudelige legger planer mot de rettferdige,
Og skjærer tenner mot dem.

13 Herren ler av de ugudelige,
For han ser at deres dag kommer.

De ugudelige spenner buen
For å felle de fattige og trengende,
For å drepe dem som vandrer rettskaffent.

15 Deres sverd skal trenge inn i deres eget hjerte,
Og deres buer skal bli brutt.

16 Det lille som den rettferdige har
Er bedre enn de mange ugudeliges rikdom.
