35 Og de fortærte all vegetasjon i deres land,
Og fortærte frukten av deres jord.

36 Han slo også ned alle førstefødte i deres land,
De første fruktene av all deres styrke.

Så førte Han israelittene ut med sølv og gull,
Og blant Hans stammer var det ingen som snublet.

38 Egypt gledet seg da de dro,
For frykt for dem hadde falt på egypterne.

39 Han spredte en sky som et dekke,
Og ild til å lyse opp natten.
