10 alltid i mine bønner, og ber om at jeg nå endelig ved Guds vilje kan lykkes i å komme til dere.

11 Jeg lengter etter å se dere, så jeg kan dele med dere en åndelig gave for å styrke dere—

slik at vi kan oppmuntre hverandre ved vår tro, deres og min.

13 Jeg vil ikke at dere skal være uvitende, brødre og søstre, om at jeg ofte har planlagt å komme til dere (men har blitt forhindret inntil nå) for at jeg kan ha en høst blant dere, slik jeg har hatt blant de andre hedningene.

14 Jeg har en plikt overfor både grekere og ikke-grekere, både de vise og de uforstandige.
