33 De kom til et sted kalt Golgata, som oversettes som "Hodeskallestedet."

34 Der tilbød de Jesus vin blandet med galle å drikke; men etter å ha smakt på det, nektet Han å drikke det.

Etter at de hadde korsfestet Ham, delte de Hans klær ved å kaste lodd.

36 Og de satte seg ned og holdt vakt over Ham.

37 Over Ham plasserte de den skrevne anklagen: DETTE ER JESUS, JØDENES KONGE.
