Elijah

8 Da de så opp, så de ingen andre enn Jesus alene.

9 Mens de gikk ned fra fjellet, befalte Jesus dem: “Fortell ingen om synet før Menneskesønnen er oppstått fra de døde.”

Disiplene spurte Ham: “Hvorfor sier da de skriftlærde at Elia først må komme?”

11 Jesus svarte: “Sannelig, Elia kommer og skal gjenopprette alle ting.

12 Men jeg sier dere at Elia allerede er kommet, og de kjente ham ikke, men gjorde med ham som de ville. På samme måte skal Menneskesønnen lide under deres hender.”
