Jesus

32 Jesus kalte disiplene sine til seg og sa: "Jeg har medfølelse med disse menneskene; de har allerede vært med meg i tre dager og har ingenting å spise. Jeg vil ikke sende dem bort sultne, for de kan bli utmattet på veien."

33 Disiplene hans svarte: "Hvor kan vi få nok brød i dette øde stedet til å mette en slik folkemengde?"

"Hvor mange brød har dere?" spurte Jesus. "Syv," svarte de, "og noen få små fisk."

35 Han ba folkemengden sette seg på bakken.

36 Så tok han de syv brødene og fiskene, og etter å ha takket, brøt han dem og ga dem til disiplene, og de igjen til folket.
