36 Send folket bort, så de kan gå til de omkringliggende landsbyene og landsbyene for å kjøpe seg noe å spise."

37 Men han svarte: "Dere gir dem noe å spise." De sa til ham: "Skal vi gå og bruke to hundre denarer på brød og gi det til dem å spise?"

Han spurte dem: "Hvor mange brød har dere? Gå og finn ut." Da de fant ut, sa de: "Fem, og to fisker."

39 Så befalte han dem å få alle til å sette seg ned i grupper på det grønne gresset.

40 Så satte de seg ned i organiserte grupper.
