Lukas 20,5

3 Han svarte dem: «Jeg vil også spørre dere om noe. La meg få vite:

4 Var Johannes' dåp fra himmelen eller fra mennesker?»

De diskuterte seg imellom og sa: «Hvis vi sier: 'Fra himmelen,' vil han spørre: 'Hvorfor trodde dere ham da ikke?'

6 Men hvis vi sier: 'Fra mennesker,' vil folket steine oss, for de er overbevist om at Johannes var en profet.»

7 Så de svarte at de ikke visste hvor den var fra.
