Jordan

14 Den dagen opphøyet Herren Josva i hele Israels øyne, og de æret ham gjennom hele hans liv, akkurat som de hadde æret Moses.

15 Da talte Herren til Josva, og sa

"Be prestene som bærer paktsarkens lov komme opp fra Jordan."

17 Så instruerte Josva prestene: "Kom opp fra Jordan."

18 Det skjedde at da prestene som bar Herrens paktsark kom opp fra midten av Jordan, og føttene deres berørte den tørre bakken, vendte vannet i Jordan tilbake til sitt sted og flommet over sine bredder som før.
