6 fordi døtrene til Manasses stamme mottok en arv sammen med sønnene. Landet Gilead tilhørte resten av etterkommerne av Manasse.

7 Grensen til Manasse gikk fra Asjer til Mikmetat, øst for Sikem. Grensen gikk deretter sørover for å inkludere folket som bodde ved En-Tappua.

Selve landet Tappua tilhørte Manasse, men Tappua, på grensen til Manasse, tilhørte etterkommerne av Efraim.

9 Deretter gikk grensen ned til Kana-ravinen, sør for ravinen. Byer som tilhørte Efraim var blant dem av Manasse, men grensen til Manasse var på nordsiden av ravinen og endte ved havet.

10 Landet i sør tilhørte Efraim og det i nord til Manasse. Havet var deres grense. De berørte Asjer i nord og Jissakar i øst.
