Johannes 9,40

38 Mannen svarte: «Herre, jeg tror,» og han æret Ham.

39 Jesus sa: «Jeg er kommet til denne verden for dom, så de som er blinde skal se, og de som ser skal bli blinde.»

Noen fariseere som var med Ham hørte Ham si dette og spurte: «Hva? Er vi også blinde?»

41 Jesus sa: «Hvis dere var blinde, ville dere ikke være skyldige i synd; men nå som dere hevder at dere kan se, forblir deres skyld.
