11 Prøver ikke øret ord
slik ganen smaker mat?

12 Visdom finnes hos de gamle,
og forståelse kommer med langt liv.

«Til Ham tilhører visdom og makt;
råd og forståelse er Hans.

14 Det Han bryter ned kan ikke bygges opp igjen;
den personen Han fengsler kan ikke slippes fri.

15 Hvis Han holder tilbake vannet, tørker de opp;
hvis Han slipper dem løs, overvelder de jorden.
