24 Deretter utpekte jeg tolv av de ledende prestene: Serebja, Hasjabja, og med dem ti av deres brødre.
25 Jeg veide opp til dem sølvet, gullet og artiklene, offeret til vår Guds hus som kongen, hans rådgivere, hans embetsmenn og hele Israel som var til stede hadde bidratt med.
Jeg veide opp til dem 650 talenter sølv, sølvartikler som veide 100 talenter, og 100 talenter gull,
27 20 gullboller verdsatt til 1000 dariker, og to fine artikler av polert bronse, like verdifulle som gull.
28 Jeg sa til dem: "Dere er hellige for Herren, og artiklene er hellige; sølvet og gullet er en frivillig gave til Herren, deres fedres Gud.
