East

8 “Slik sier Herren Gud: ‘Fordi Moab og Se’ir sa: “Se, Judas hus er som alle andre nasjoner,”

9 derfor, se, jeg vil avdekke Moabs flanke, begynne med grensebyene—Bet Jesjimot, Ba’al Meon og Kirjatajim—landets herlighet.

Jeg vil overgi Moab sammen med ammonittene til Østens folk som en eiendom, slik at ammonittene blir glemt blant nasjonene;

11 og jeg vil fullbyrde dommer over Moab. Da skal de kjenne at jeg er Herren.’”
