23 Men hans kone svarte: "Hvis Herren hadde til hensikt å drepe oss, ville Han ikke ha akseptert et brennoffer og grødeoffer fra våre hender, eller vist oss alle disse tingene eller fortalt oss dette."

Kvinnen fødte en sønn og kalte ham Samson. Han vokste opp, og Herren velsignet ham.
