36 Mens de reiste langs veien, kom de til noe vann, og evnukken sa: "Se, her er vann. Hva hindrer meg i å bli døpt?"

39 Da de kom opp av vannet, tok Herrens Ånd Filip bort, og evnukken så ham ikke igjen, men fortsatte sin vei med glede.

40 Filip, derimot, befant seg i Asdod, og mens han dro gjennom, forkynte han evangeliet i alle byene til han nådde Cæsarea.
