15 Så spydde slangen vann som en elv ut av sin munn etter kvinnen, så han kunne få henne til å bli feid bort med flommen.
16 Men jorden hjalp kvinnen ved å åpne sin munn og svelge elven som dragen hadde spydd ut av sin munn.
Da ble dragen rasende på kvinnen og gikk av sted for å føre krig mot resten av hennes avkom, de som holder Guds bud og holder fast ved sitt vitnesbyrd om Jesus.
