5. Mosebok 28,35

33 Et folk som du ikke kjenner vil konsumere det ditt land og arbeid produserer, og du vil tåle ingenting annet enn hard undertrykkelse alle dine dager.

34 De tingene du er vitne til vil drive deg til galskap.

Herren vil plage dine knær og ben med smertefulle byller som ikke kan helbredes, som sprer seg fra fotsålene til toppen av hodet ditt.

36 Herren vil drive deg og kongen du setter over deg til en nasjon ukjent for deg eller dine forfedre. Der vil du tilbe andre guder, guder av tre og stein.

37 Du vil bli et symbol på skrekk, et ordtak, og et objekt for latterliggjøring blant alle folkene hvor Herren vil drive deg.
