5. Mosebok 21,19

17 Han må anerkjenne den førstefødte, sønnen av den ikke elskede kona, ved å gi ham en dobbelt del av alt han har, for han er det første tegnet på sin fars styrke. Førstefødselsretten tilhører ham.

18 Hvis en mann har en trassig og opprørsk sønn som ikke adlyder sin far og mor og ikke vil høre på dem når de irettesetter ham,

skal hans far og mor ta ham og føre ham til de eldste ved inngangen til hans by.

20 De skal si til de eldste: “Denne sønnen vår er trassig og opprørsk. Han vil ikke adlyde oss. Han er en fråtser og en dranker.”

21 Da skal alle mennene i hans by steine ham til døde. Du må rense ut det onde fra blant deg. Hele Israel skal høre om det og frykte.
