5. Mosebok 21,10

8 Tilgi, Herre, Ditt folk Israel som Du har forløst, og hold ikke skyld for uskyldig blod mot Ditt folk Israel.” Slik skal blodskyld bli tilgitt dem.

9 Så skal du fjerne skylden for uskyldig blod fra blant deg, siden du har gjort det som er rett i Herrens øyne.

Når du går til kamp mot dine fiender og Herren din Gud gir dem i dine hender og du tar fanger,

11 hvis du ser blant fangene en vakker kvinne og blir tiltrukket av henne, kan du ta henne til din kone.

12 Før henne inn i ditt hjem, og hun skal barbere hodet og klippe neglene.
