God's power and sovereignty

1 Da sa Herren til Moses: «Se, jeg har gjort deg som Gud for farao, og din bror Aron skal være din profet.

2 Du skal tale alt det jeg befaler deg, og din bror Aron skal si til farao at han skal la israelittene dra ut av sitt land.

Men jeg vil forherde faraos hjerte, så jeg kan mangfoldiggjøre mine tegn og under i Egypt.

4 Farao vil ikke lytte til dere, så jeg vil legge min hånd på Egypt og føre ut mine hærer, mitt folk israelittene, ved store straffedommer.

5 Egypterne skal vite at jeg er Herren når jeg rekker ut min hånd over Egypt og fører israelittene ut fra blant dem.»
