34 Men prestene var for få, slik at de ikke kunne flå alle brennofferne; derfor hjalp deres brødre levittene dem til arbeidet var fullført og til prestene hadde innviet seg. For levittene var mer samvittighetsfulle i å innvie seg enn prestene.

35 Det var også mange brennoffer med fettet fra fredsofferne og med drikkofrene for brennofferne. Slik ble tjenesten i Herrens hus gjenopprettet.

Da gledet Hiskia og hele folket seg over det Gud hadde forberedt for folket, fordi det skjedde så plutselig.
