20 Jeroboam gjenvant ikke styrke igjen i Abias dager; og Herren slo ham, og han døde.

21 Men Abia vokste i styrke; og han tok fjorten koner for seg selv og fikk tjue-to sønner og seksten døtre.

Nå er resten av Abias gjerninger, hans veier og hans ord, skrevet i avhandlingen til profeten Iddo.
