34 Så gikk han inn og spiste og drakk, og han sa, “Ta hånd om denne forbannede kvinnen og begrav henne, for hun er en kongedatter.”

35 Så gikk de for å begrave henne, men de fant ikke mer av henne enn hodeskallen og føttene og håndflatene.

Derfor vendte de tilbake og informerte ham. Og han sa, “Dette er Herrens ord, som Han talte ved sin tjener Elia fra Tisjbe, og sa, ‘På Jisre'els eiendom skal hundene spise Jesabels kjøtt;

37 og Jesabels lik vil være som gjødsel på markens overflate på Jisre'els eiendom, slik at de ikke kan si, “Dette er Jesabel.”’”
