hulen på marken Makpela, nær Mamre i Kanaan, som Abraham kjøpte sammen med marken fra hetitten Efron som et gravsted.

31 Der ble Abraham og hans kone Sara lagt til hvile, der ble Isak og hans kone Rebekka lagt til hvile, og der la jeg Lea til hvile.

32 Marken og hulen i den ble kjøpt fra Hets sønner.»
