33 Nå bør farao se etter en forstandig og vis mann og sette ham over landet Egypt.
34 La farao utnevne tilsynsmenn over landet og ta en femtedel av avlingen i Egypt i de sju årene med overflod.
De bør samle all maten i disse gode årene som kommer og lagre kornet under faraos myndighet, for å bli holdt i byene til mat.
36 Denne maten bør holdes i reserve for landet, for å brukes i de sju årene med hungersnød som vil komme over Egypt, slik at landet ikke blir ødelagt av hungersnøden."
