5 Fra disse spredte de maritime folkene seg inn i sine territorier etter sine klaner og språk, hver innenfor sine nasjoner.

6 Kams etterkommere var Kusj, Egypt, Put og Kanaan.

Kusjs avkom var Seba, Havila, Sabta, Raema og Sabteka; og Raemas sønner var Saba og Dedan.

8 Kusj ble far til Nimrod, som vokste opp til å bli en mektig kriger på jorden.

9 Han var en mektig jeger for Herren; derfor sier man: "Som Nimrod, en mektig jeger for Herren."
