16 jebusittene, amorittene og girgasittene,

17 hivittene, arkittene og sinittene,

arvadittene, semarittene og hamatittene. Senere ble kanaanittenes klaner spredt.

19 Grensene for Kanaan strakte seg fra Sidon mot Gerar så langt som til Gaza, og deretter mot Sodoma, Gomorra, Adma og Sebojim, så langt som til Lasa.

20 Dette er sønnene til Kam, etter deres klaner, språk, land og nasjoner.
