14 Disse var etterkommerne til Abihail, sønn av Huri,
sønn av Jaroa,
sønn av Gilead,
sønn av Mikael,
sønn av Jesjisjai,
sønn av Jahdo,
sønn av Bus—

15 Ahi, sønn av Abdiel, sønn av Guni,
var lederen for deres fedres hus.

De bodde i Gilead, i Basan og dens byer, og i alle beitemarkene i Saron, som nådde deres grenser.

17 Alle disse ble registrert i slektsregistrene i dagene til Jotam, kongen av Juda,
og i dagene til Jeroboam, kongen av Israel.

18 Etterkommerne til Ruben, gadittene og halvparten av Manasses stamme—
bestående av tapre menn, menn som bar skjold og sverd,
og spente buen, og var trent for kamp—
utgjorde 44 760, som gikk ut for militærtjeneste.
