8 Etan hadde en sønn ved navn:
Asarja.

9 Hesron hadde sønner, som var:
Jerahmeel, Ram og Kelubai.

Ram ble far til Amminadab, og Amminadab ble far til Nahsjon,
lederen for Judas sønner.

11 Nahsjon ble far til Salma, som igjen ble far til Boas.

12 Boas var far til Obed, som var far til Isai.
